Foundations Class, Begins Today
New to CCFW? We are so glad you’re here! The Foundations Class is the perfect next step if you’re interested in committing to our church family. As a prerequisite for membership, this two-week class will walk you through the essentials of who we are, what we believe, and whom we serve. Classes will be held in two parts today and February 22 from 2–5:30pm in Ed Mod 2E.
A Closer Look at King Hezekiah, Feb. 17
All women and teen girls are invited as we pause our Isaiah study for a special look at King Hezekiah. Other than David and Solomon, no king of Judah receives more biblical honor and attention. Professor Russ Glessner will help us understand why by sharing the history surrounding Hezekiah’s reign. Together we’ll discover valuable lessons about faith, prayer, and the danger of pride—proof that while the time period was different, the heart issues are still the same. Tuesday, February 17, from 9:30–11:30am in the Worship Center Auditorium. Registration required. Childcare available.
High School Winter Ball, Feb. 28
Students in grades 8–12, it’s time for Winter Ball—Hollywood style. Dress to impress, strike a pose, and get ready to walk the red carpet before a night of music, dancing, and unforgettable memories. Bring your friends and enjoy the spotlight as we turn the Ministry Center into a movie premiere experience. Callie and Ella are leading the night, so you know it’s going to be a good one. Registration is $25 before February 21 and $30 after. Saturday, February 28 from 6–10pm in the Ministry Center.
Youth Open Gym, Feb. 21
Middle and high schoolers, Youth Open Gym is about to be the place to be. We’re talking full-court games, wild energy, pizza, snacks, and a night to just hang with your people. Bring your friends, wear something you can move in, and come ready to play hard and laugh harder. Saturday, Feb. 21 from 6:30–9:30pm in the Ministry Center.
Spring Youth Retreat, March 20
Middle and high school students, get ready for Spring Retreat. We’re heading to Lake Retreat for a weekend of worship, teaching, games, and time away together. This year’s theme is Living by the Spirit, Galatians 5:25, all about understanding the Holy Spirit and His role in our lives through Scripture. Come ready to grow in your faith, build deeper friendships, and have a ton of fun. Cost is $135, and spots fill fast, so sign up soon. Friday–Sunday, March 20–22 at Lake Retreat.
Am I Believer in Jesus Christ? Beginning March 1
All middle schoolers, teens, and adults are invited to join Prof. Russ Glessner for a 4-week class during first service exploring one of faith’s most important questions: Am I a believer in Jesus Christ? This class will encourage and strengthen your assurance of salvation through biblical teaching and honest conversation. Whether you’re seeking clarity or wanting to deepen your confidence in Christ, this class offers a welcoming space to grow. Sundays, March 1–22, at 8:45am in the Ministry Center. Free. Coffee, tea, and snacks provided.
Kids Town Camp Drama Auditions, March 1
Join the 2026 Children’s Ministry Worship/Drama Teams for Kids Town Camp! We’re seeking actors (ages 9–adult) and worship leaders (ages 11–teen) for this year’s presentation, Jungle Studios—a movie set/jungle-themed experience focused on God’s Word. Auditions for worship, acting, singing, and dancing will be Sunday, March 1 from 1–4pm in the Worship Center. Sign up today! Packets to download for the worship team and drama auditions will be sent in your confirmation email; drama people, come with a section memorized.
Parking Lot Flow
Sunday, Feb. 22, we are launching a new parking lot traffic flow designed to keep everyone safer. Before, during, and after worship services, traffic from the upper paved lot and gravel lot will now flow up through the upper paved lot and will no longer cross the crosswalk in front of the Worship Center. Please follow posted signs and directions as you arrive and exit. Thank you for your patience as we make this change to better care for both drivers and pedestrians.
Hands of Hope, March 4
Hands of Hope is a ministry of compassion, care, and practical acts of service to elderly women, shut-ins, widows, or any woman walking through unexpected needs or trials. Simple gestures—sharing coffee, bringing small gifts, visiting, or simply listening—can become meaningful expressions of God’s love. Join us for more info on Wed., March 4 at 12pm in the Music Room.
Men’s Breakfast, March 7
Men, join us for breakfast, fellowship, and encouragement from God’s Word. This month, four men from CCFW will share personal stories about trusting God through difficult seasons of life. Come hungry for good food and honest conversations that strengthen your faith. Invite a friend and be part of a morning that points us back to Christ. Breakfast is donation-based. Saturday, March 7 from 8–9:30am in the Ministry Center.
