The most anticipated and climactic event in all of human history is the second coming of Jesus Christ. His coming is prominently predicted (1,845 references in the Scriptures and it outnumbers references to our Lord’s first coming by a factor of 8 to 1) and will be powerful and glorious (Matt. 24:27-30), personal (Acts 1:1), visible (Rev. 1:7), yet often it is often overlooked as a time of bloody judgment.
