Thanksgiving is something most everyone is taught from the beginning of life and for good reason: - We begin life as ungrateful (Rom. 1:18, 21; 2 Tim. 3:1-2) - We begin new life in Christ as grateful and God commands us “in everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thess 5:18), "always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father." (Eph. 5:20) and to be “overflowing with gratitude.” (Col. 2:7)
