The word “correction” doesn’t always conjure up the most enjoyable moments in life, especially when it involves needed correction in our lives. But the best kind of correction comes when it helps us live out our faith in a way that is an honor to God, a blessing to us and a great benefit to our church family. Paul uses two verbs (“sharply rebuke” and “appeal”) to teach us how to apply the ministry of correction in the family of God.
