It is good to take a look at what we as believers are willing to tolerate in our lives. Yes, we are called to show “tolerance for one another in love”, but we are forbidden to tolerate sin in our lives. The church at Thyatira received the longest letter from Jesus and while it has some commendations, it received some harsh condemnation for its toleration of a sinful and woman who had tragic influence in the Lord’s church.
